What are you currently reading? I am still reading The Magician's Elephant by Kate DiCamillo with my daughter and In Leah's Wake by Terri Guiliano Long.
What did you just finish reading? I just finished reading Jenny Pox by JL Bryan. What a BLAST! Check out my review tomorrow!
What are you going to read next? Guess what I got in from the library this week? Dreams of Joy by Lisa See. FINALLY! I feel so bad for The Chosen Soul. I am distracted from it by soo many other shorter and quicker reads.

I still need to read Jenny Pox!! I feel like I bought it forever ago and I still haven't gotten to it. In Leah's Wake was just okay to me. I thought it seemed really long and had a lot of unnecessary stuff. (It took me almost a week to read, I just couldn't get myself into it.) I think it had the potential to be really awesome. Of course I don't tend to read many books like that, so it is probably just me. I would definitely recommend the book to others though.

ReplyDeleteI find myself often setting longer books aside, even ones that I was excited to read because I have so many other shorter ones I can read and get through quicker to review.
