Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison can read as a great way to find new book blogs.
This week's question:
Q: Do you read one book at at time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?
As a book lover of many, many years, I must say that I deplore reading more than one book at time. Reading more than one story at a time muddles story lines for me. I like to enjoy and savor each book I read, and now that I have started reviewing books for my blog, I find that I need to concentrate on one book at a time to tease out the minute details. If I come across a book that I don't particularly enjoy, I power through the book or if the story is really unbearable, I abandon it all together. However, the scenario of abandonment is a rare one for me. I usually can finish every book I come across.

Great to see a new blogger joining our Friday fun. Thanks so much for visiting me and becoming a follower. I'm now following you back via GFC. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Thank you! I am so impressed to see how many blogs are out there! Loved your blog.
DeleteI read multiple books BUT I don't read similar books. That prevents muddling. It also helps that at least one is always an audiobook.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my follow friday
Excellent point you make! Thanks for stopping by. I love your blog!
DeleteI'm the exact same way! Reading two or more books at a time is way too confusing and I just end up ruining the books because I mix up the details. Someone one my blog made a good point- you wouldn't watch two tv shows a the same time!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and the follow!
Delete"Deplore"?!?! Ouch!!
ReplyDeleteThx for hopping by my FF. It takes me a while to get hooked on a book, to defend myself. And I juggle so many things, anyway. Once I'm engaged in a story, I finish it. But when I'm irritated, it helps to not be completely immersed. I get really irritated sometimes.
New follower, followin' ya back!
Deplore is kinda strong isn't it? :D I feel very strongly about this, or at least I did.
DeleteHere's the thing though, after my blog hopping I realize that there are many people who read differently and so my daughter who is 11 and seems to be able to read more than one book at once, should be left to read her multiple books in peace.
Thanks for the follow!
